What areas do you service?

I service the Greater Cleveland area that includes downtown, the eastern, western and suburbs to the south. I also have had clients on the outer edges of Lorain and Summit counties. Additional charges may be applied for roundtrips that exceed 40 miles.

Who needs a personal chef?
  • Busy Professionals: after a long and hard day at work, the last thing you want to do is figure out what to eat, shop for the ingredients, then have to prepare it AND clean up the mess.
  •  Families: Enjoy a shared meal without stress. Having a family with multiple activities, this service eliminates the rather unhealthy fall back of fast food and processed frozen dinners.
  • New Parents: get the rest you need and the delicious meals you deserve during this exciting new time in your life!
  • Dietary Concerns: professional and amateur athletes, seniors, those that have recently been placed on medical diets by their doctor, I can create menus that taste great and will keep you in line with your dietary needs and goals.
  • Everyone! Give yourself the luxury of a zero-stress dinner.  The nourishment goes beyond food.

“Studies show that families who eat dinner together benefit in a variety of ways. Eating together helps families achieve better communication and build stronger relationships, children do better in school and are better adjusted as teens and adults & the entire family enjoys better nutrition.” Source

Why have a personal chef?
  • Increased Free Time: with my personal chef service you will be able to find 15 to 20 hours of new free time per week.
  • Reduce Stress: 3p.m. rolls around and the dreaded question pops up: “What are we going to eat for dinner tonight…?” Eliminate your moments of wondering what to cook all while avoiding the grocery store at it’s busiest time.
  • Customized Menus: ”I don’t like onions…!” You won’t find one. “I could eat lasagna everyday…!” I’ll make 5 pans of it. Your input is the primary source of consideration when I create your menu.
  • Eat Well: with customized menus, all necessary dietary restrictions and nutritional goals will be achieved while quality and flavor will not be compromised.

How does the process start?

We have a free in-home consultation meeting were I can introduce myself and we will discuss your needs and goals with the service. I conduct a brief survey where I will find out what you do and do not like to eat and the types of meals that you are interested in having. I also gather information about your kitchen set-up and how frequently you would like to have the service.

How does a typical cook-day go?

A few days prior to our scheduled cook-day, I will send over a menu via email for your final approval and make any changes upon your request. I shop for the groceries that morning and arrive at your residence around 9 a.m. I cook all of the meals, properly cool and package them with all of the heating instructions attached. All of the meals will be stored in either the refrigerator or freezer and I then clean your kitchen and leave…the next step is for you to enjoy your meals! It’s that simple!

I remove all of my garbage and recycle all of the glass, cardboard and plastic. Additionally, all vegetable scraps will be composted and utilized in my garden.

Are all the meals ready to eat? How do I heat them up?

Each client has varying degrees of how they like their meals prepared. A majority of the meals are cooked through and simply need to be heated in the microwave or in the oven as per the instruction labels. In some instances, the meals will be prepped fresh and uncooked, and are completed in a few quick steps.

How long does a cook-day take?

Since I am preparing the meals and sides from scratch and letting them properly cool, the average day takes anywhere between 5-7 hours.

Do I need to be there while you cook?

No. As long as there is an agreed upon way for me to gain entry to your residence, you do not need to be around. I would be happy to lock up on my way out if you do need to leave for the day. Clean kitchen, full fridge!

How long will the meals last?

Fully cooked meals, if kept in the refrigerator the entire time, should last 5-7 days. Meals that are prepped but uncooked should be made within 48-72 hours after I leave. Meals that have been frozen will hold for 2-4 months.

What kind of containers do you use?

We can discuss this in further detail during our initial meeting and figure out what would best suit your needs and available space. Options range from disposable to reusable to permanent Pyrex.

What forms of payment do you take?

Services can be paid for in cash, by check made out to “Molinari’s Culinary PCS, LLC” and credit cards via PayPal. Payment for Personal Chef meals need to be received on the day of service. Private Parties will be invoiced after the event.

Are you a private chef?

No. Private chefs work for one individual or one family. They will prepare up three meals a day and work “on call” for that specific client all week. As a personal chef, I have several clients scheduled throughout the week, usually cooking for one client per day.

Are you insured?

Yes, I have liability insurance through The Unites States Personal Chef Association. www.uspca.com
